Welcome to Crafted Wizard, a creative corner for DIY lovers, Pinterest scrollers, weekend makers, and anyone who loves turning simple ideas into something beautiful.
My name is Lily Summers, and I’m the owner and creator of Crafted Wizard. I’m 30 years old, based in the United States, and I’ve always been the kind of person who looks at a plain jar, an empty wall, a leftover piece of paper, or a forgotten ribbon and thinks, “I could definitely turn that into something cute.”

Crafted Wizard was born from that exact feeling, the little spark you get when a simple idea suddenly becomes a handmade project.
How Crafted Wizard Started
I didn’t grow up thinking I would run a craft website. In fact, Crafted Wizard started much more casually.
A few years ago, I was working a regular job, spending most of my free time saving DIY ideas, home decor inspiration, and handmade gift projects on Pinterest. My boards were full of paper flowers, cosy shelf decor, clay trinket dishes, seasonal wreaths, handmade ornaments, journal pages, and all those pretty little projects that make you think, “One day, I’m going to try that.”
The problem was, I kept saving ideas but rarely making them.
Then one weekend, after moving into a small apartment that felt a little too plain, I decided to stop just collecting inspiration and actually start creating. I made a few simple decorations for my space, nothing fancy, nothing perfect, but they made my home feel warmer and more personal.
That was the moment I realised I didn’t need expensive decor or professional-level skills to make something beautiful. I just needed simple materials, a little patience, and a creative idea I was excited to try.
Crafted Wizard grew from there.
Why I Created This Site
I created Crafted Wizard for people like me, people who love pretty ideas but need them to feel realistic.
I know how easy it is to see a beautiful craft project online and immediately wonder:
- Do I need expensive materials?
- Is this actually beginner-friendly?
- Will it look good if I make it at home?
- What colours should I use?
- What if I mess it up?
That’s why I wanted Crafted Wizard to feel different from a basic inspiration site. I don’t just want to share cute ideas; I want to help you imagine how you could actually make them, style them, gift them, or adapt them to your own space.
Whether it’s an origami cat, a clay jewellery dish, a handmade wall hanging, a cosy seasonal decoration, or a creative journal page, I want every idea here to feel approachable.
